Laptop Thief Mails Victim His Data On A USB Stick

Posted by | News, Random | No Comments

via Gizmodo. A man in Sweden recently had his laptop stolen, but was surprised to find a USB stick with all of his data and personal information in the mail a week later. Haha, wow. How kind!!! I guess there is honor amongst thieves.

As the victim, a professor at Sweden’s Umeå University, told the Västerbottens-Kuriren newspaper “this story makes me feel hope for humanity.” Of course, you could argue that had the thief had a touch more humanity in his bones he wouldn’t have stolen the laptop in the first place, but at least he left the professor’s credit cards and money in the bag the laptop was stolen from. The only other thing that was stolen, bizarrely, was his library card.

This Could Be California’s First Pot Factory…

Posted by | News | No Comments

California seems to be moving full-force with medical marijuana (and has been for years). I visited LA a few weeks ago, and everywhere I went, I saw billboards advertising doctors or medical marijuana dispensaries accessible to the public. In fact, when I was out there, I saw a program on the news that showed lollipops and ice cream that are infused with weed. What do you all think about this? Do you think that a drug deemed illegal should be so readily available in Cali? Anyways, it seems as though many of the dispensaries are clean and safe, however, the places that grow marijuana are not. This factory intends to produced $50 million in weed annually in a sterile, eco-friendly environment. You can see the video via Gizmodo.

“[The rumors] are completely untrue and without merit,” the spokesman told XXL this afternoon over the phone.
