Titanic II Sinks On Maiden Voyage
via YahooNews. Several boats gathered on May 31st in Northern Ireland to commemorate the 100th anniversary of the launch of the Titanic. Briton Mark Wilkinson took his newly acquired boat (a 16-foot cabin cruiser), named the Titanic II, out for it’s maiden voyage, and it promptly sank. Lol. Hat Tip: Amar
“If it wasn’t for the harbourmaster I would have gone down with the Titanic,” Wilkinson, who had to be fished out of the sea at West Bay harbour in Dorset, told local media. “It’s all a bit embarrassing and I got pretty fed up with people asking me if I had hit an iceberg.”
Bad Meets Evil (Eminem & Royce Da 5’9″) To Drop EP In June
Remember back in the day when Eminem’s first album dropped, and he and Royce Da 5’9″ dropped their
“Scary Movies” single on Game Recordings? Anyways, Eminem and Royce have set aside their beef, and will be collaborating on a new EP to be released on June 14th. Bangladesh, DJ Khalil, Havoc, and Mr. Porter will be contributing production on this project.
“Royce and I started hanging out again and inevitably that led us back into the studio. At first we were just seeing where it went without any real goal in mind, but the songs started to come together crazy, so here we are.” – Eminem
“I’m excited to see this project come to fruition considering the long lapse in time between when we worked before and now. We had a blast doing it and we just hope everyone enjoys it while we’re working on the ‘Monster’ that will be the Slaughterhouse album. #TeamShady” – Royce

Brazilian Police Debut ‘RoboCop’ Glasses For World Cup
via AOLNews. Apparently Brazilian police are planning to use some new technology, the “RoboCop Glasses”, named after the 1987 action film, RoboCop, during the 2014 World Cup. The glasses have tiny cameras that scan 400 faces per second, and then cross-check the images against a database of criminals and terrorists. A small red light flashes inside of the glasses if a match comes up.
“It’s something discreet because you do not question the person or ask for documents. The computer does it,” Maj. Leandro Pavani Agostini, chief of military police in the Brazilian city of Sao Paolo, told reporters.
