Mayer Hawthorne – “How Do You Do” (Tracklist)

I had a chance to check out Mayer Hawthorne and Chromeo’s concert last week at the Masquerade in Atlanta. Great show! I was also able to pick up some cool vinyl pieces while I was there. The Soulphonics & Ruby Velle – “The Man Says”

via 2dopeboyz. I thought this was really interesting… The Soulphonics & Ruby Velle are a new funk/soul revivalist group from Atlanta, GA. The group’s lead singer, Ruby, is Indian and is reminiscent of famed soul singers like Gladys Knight & The Pips, Aretha Franklin, and Patti Labelle.
