Haha… Old Dirty Bastard at his finest… I just came back from Rock The Bells in NYC a couple weeks ago… Wu-Tang was dope… only person missing was ODB.

The “Rock the Bells” tour this year is going to be epic for anyone who is a 90s hip hop fan. It includes several of the elite hip hop artists performing their classic albums in their entirety. Check out the list (among others): ATCQ performing “Midnight Marauders,” Wu-Tang Clan performing “Enter the 36 Chambers,” Rakim performing “Paid in Full,” KRS-One performing “Criminal Minded,” Slick Rick performing “The Great Adventures Of,” Snoop Dogg performing “Doggystyle,” a Guru tribute by DJ Premier, and a performance by Ms. Lauryn Hill who will be performing “a unique set prepared exclusively for Rock the Bells, featuring songs from her critically acclaimed album The Miseducation of Lauryn Hill spanning through her work with The Fugees and more.” – URB. “Our Dreams” is the first single off of the Def Jam release by Wu-Tang Clan members Method Man, Ghostface, and Raekwon called . The album is called Wu-Tang Presents… Wu-Massacre.
Via RapRadar. Looks like the Wu-Tang Clan’s RZA has confirmed via Twitter that he will be producing the GZA’s entire album entitled Liquid Swords 2. I think a lot of people have been waiting for a full album produced by the RZA. It should be a good year for the return of 90s era hip hop. If you haven’t noticed, Raekwon’s Only Built For Cuban Linx came out… and did surprisingly well. Capone N Noreaga’s War Report 2 is coming out this Summer. Sadat X’s Wild Cowboys 2 is coming out… I think everyone is trying to recapture that 90s era sound. Should be interesting.
