Raekwon's Purple Tape on Ebay for $5000…

Haha… are you serious? I know exactly where my Raekwon Only Built for Cuban Linx purple tape is… they only made 10,000 of these? Yeh… I’m generally a collector but I’d sell it in a heartbeat for $5,000. Anyways, check out the auction here. Also, looking for an Eminem Slim Shady EP CD (the one that came out on Web Entertainment)? I have that too… Oh yeh and a Ken Griffey Jr. 1989 Upperdeck rookie card… <scratches head> …man I bought a lot of stuff as a kid.

Slaughterhouse signs with Eminem's Shady Records

Underground hip hop supergroup Slaughterhouse (consisting of former Bad Meets Evil member Royce Da 5’9″, Crooked I, Joe Budden, and Joell Ortiz) signs with Eminem’s Shady Records. I suppose they were in Drake’s “Forever” video for a reason. Also, this marks the first time Eminem will reunite with his former partner from Bad Meets Evil in years. Apparently it’s “what Gaga is”… I got nothing from this. Lol. But if you didn’t know Red One is a Moroccan-Swedish songwriter/producer who produced  “Just Dance”, “Pokerface”, “Bad Romance”, and “LoveGame” – quite a resume. Oh, I also just noticed that “Telephone” was produced by Rodney Jerkins… never knew that.

via MTV. Drake sits down with Sway from MTV to discuss the evolution of the mixtape game.

Excerpt: “I think that when creating a mixtape, you have to approach it with a selfless mind-set,” Drake told us. “A mixtape can’t be the songs that don’t make your album, or songs that aren’t good enough to make your album make your mixtape — unless you’re that good. There aren’t that many people that are that good. I’m not that good. That mixtape [So Far Gone] is me working my hardest. It wasn’t ‘Oh, here are the songs I’m gonna give away to you ’cause I have better songs coming.’ A mixtape has become an album.

New-Eco Coke Design

This is Apple's next iPhone…

For all of the iPhone lovers out there (including myself), here are some pics of the next-gen iPhone that should be released this Summer. Apparently one of the engineers from Apple was celebrating his 27th birthday, and accidently left it at a bar. Gizmodo paid a hefty $5,000 for it, but then later had to return it to Apple.
