Jeff (via jeffwongdesign), my best friend and business partner in Kameleons Music Group, made an interesting comparison yesterday… the new single from Lady Gaga called “Alejandro” sounds a lot like the 90s sound of Ace of Base… weird that she is bringing this sound back. Hmm..

Britney Spears – "Telephone" (Demo)

So apparently, Lady Gaga originally wrote “Telephone” with producer Rodney Jerkins for Britney Spear’s album Circus. Listen to the heavily-autotuned Britney Spears version below. Britney must be kicking herself for passing on this smash hit. Hah. Oh, and if you didn’t know, Lady Gaga actually writes most of her own material (unlike most other Pop/R&B singers).

Video: Lady Gaga’s Producer Red One talks about new album…

And reveals absolutely nothing!

Apparently it’s “what Gaga is”… I got nothing from this. Lol. But if you didn’t know Red One is a Moroccan-Swedish songwriter/producer who produced  “Just Dance”, “Pokerface”, “Bad Romance”, and “LoveGame” – quite a resume. Oh, I also just noticed that “Telephone” was produced by Rodney Jerkins… never knew that.
