Skillz Presents: Hip-Hop Confessions Ep. 6

Posted by | Videos | No Comments

I’m not going to lie… Skillz never ceases to impress me. Jeff and I used to hang out at the University of Richmond radio station (WDCE) with Skillz, DanjaMowf, and DJ Lonnie B (Power 92.1) back when we were in high school. Since then, Skillz has dropped an album on E1, toured with DJ Jazzy Jeff, created the year-end-wrap-up song, done ghostwriting for several artists, and released a number of Hip Hop Confessions episodes. Anyways, this new episode features legendary producers/DJs Q-Tip & Peanut Butter Wolf sharing some hip hop related stories and Skillz tells the story of passing on three classic J-Dilla beats. Shout out to Skillz. Random Fact: Jeff and I bought Skillz’ old Ensoniq EPS 16-Plus from Lonnie B back in the day, and I still have it in my condo. Lol.
