Collie Buddz Announces Summer U.S. Tour Dates with Slightly Stoopid and Cypress Hill

Tour Kicks off in Irvine, California Friday, July 16

Berkeley, CA – Collie Buddz, creator of the freshest young sound in contemporary reggae, announced today his summer U.S. tour dates on the “Cauzin Vapors…Legalize It” tour with Slightly Stoopid and Cypress Hill.

Joining Collie are New Kingston and DJ Pee Wee as they make their way across the U.S., beginning in Southern California at the Verizon Wireless Amphitheater July 16.With stops at the Stone Pony Summer Stage in Asbury Park, N.J. and the House of Blues in Chicago, Collie concludes the tour in West Boca Raton, Fla. on August 21. In addition to the tour, Collie will perform solo shows in Ocean City, Md., Tulsa, Okla., and Austin, Texas.

One of the most talked about reggae artists today, Collie Buddz’s self-titled debut album changed the landscape of how present-day reggae is seen. The record has been hailed as the most complete reggae album from start to finish in the past decade. It debuted at No. 1 on Billboard’s Reggae Album charts, topped reggae charts around the world from Jamaica and Germany to Japan and the UK and has consistently ranked among the top reggae/dancehall sellers on iTunes.

Collie’s wildly popular single “Come Around” exploded onto the scene in 2007, instantly creating hardcore fans across a wide spectrum of genres from traditional reggae, dancehall and hip-hop to pop, rock and beyond. With over four million views to date on Youtube, a continued steady stream of weekly sales, and nonstop play in clubs worldwide, “Come Around” is still an international anthem just as powerful today as when it first debuted.

An announcement for Collie’s highly anticipated new EP will be made on tour this summer.

Tour dates after the break.
