Microsoft Kinect for Xbox 360 is now official ($150). The Kinect is a camera-based motion-sensing system featuring a camera, audio sensors, motion-sensing tech to track 48 points of your body in realtime for up to two players simultaneously, and the ability to recognize faces and voices. Nintendo has annouced its new portable hardware, the Nintendo 3DS ($TBA). It will allow users to play 3D games without the need for special glasses, they claim that the 3DS will achieve naked eye 3D by using a parallax barrier technique. It is smaller than the DSi LL, is compatible with Nintendo DSi, which includes a top screen is 3.5 inches and a 3-inch bottom screen, motion sensor, and Wi-Fi. According to Nintendo, the product will go on sale between April 2010 and March 2011.
So you may have seen my previous posts about the game “Super Mario Bros Crossover” as well as a video of the creator playing it. Anyways, Ryu from Ninja Gaiden will be a new character in an upcoming version of the game. Pretty cool.
