So for those of you who don’t know, I went to the University of Rochester for college. A few of my friends (who also went to school with me at U of R) just released a new album entitled Earth Amplified. Check it out, they are DOPE! The first single from the album is called “Global Warning” and features stic.man of Dead Prez. Also check out Wes Restless and J-Bless in the studio after the break. The single is off of the full-length album Earth Amplified by Seasunz + J.Bless, which includes guest spots from stic.man of dead prez, Killah Priest, Zumbi from Zion I and Wes Restless, among others.  This seminal Green Hip Hop album features lyrics that touch on many of the environmental and socio-political issues of the day, covering topics from food and water security, climate change, poverty and prisons, to the potential for social transformation.  Led by Oakland-based frontman Seasunz and produced by Brooklyn-based J.Bless and multi-instrumentalist Golden Horns, the organic sound of Earth Amplified’s heavy, layered beats blend influences ranging from afrobeat, dancehall, funk and old school soul with the jazz vibes of Golden Era Hip Hop.

Happy Golden October ya’ll! First of all, I appreciate everyone who has been supporting the artists of A-Side Worldwide and myself since day one! With October being my birthday month/anniversary month of my debut album, I wanted to give ya’ll a gift!

I want to share with you my first ever video of “The Inside” off the album, “The Golden Hour.”
I wanted to do a video for “The Inside,” because everyone I speak to, that’s like their favorite song off the project and to me it’s like the summary song of the whole album. The video is simple, displaying me kind of becoming the instruments/vocals that you hear in the song and giving ya’ll a look of how I actually look when I’m in a room by myself creating music. If you thought patting your belly and rubbing your head at the same time was hard, try this video. Haha! Enjoy ya’ll!
