Video: M.I.A. – "Born Free" (NSFW)

Posted by | Alternative, Music, Music Videos, Pop Music | No Comments

If you don’t know who M.I.A. is, you’ve probably heard her music (e.g. Paper Planes) in the movies “Pineapple Express” and “Slumdog Millionaire.” This video is pretty long and uh… kind of NSFW. I like M.I.A., but I might need some time for this to grow on me. UPDATE: Also, according to Billboard, it was apparently banned from YouTube for graphic violence…

So, Ester Dean released a song called “Drop It Low” a while back, and she returns with her new single “Big Things” feat. Chris Brown on the hook. Production by Timbaland Polow Da Don. Pretty good follow up for Ester Dean.

Kelis – "Acapella" (Prod. David Guetta)

Posted by | Music, Pop Music | No Comments

New single from Kelis called “Acapella” produced by electro/house producer David Guetta. This is a far cry from Kelis’ performance on “Caught Out There”, “I’m Bossy”, or “Milkshake”, and I’m not sure how I feel about it. I do like David Guetta, but this sounds a little generic to me. You can form your own opinion. Anyways, this album will include more production from David Guetta as well as Will.I.Am.

Taio Cruz feat. Ke$ha – "Dirty Picture"

Posted by | Music, Pop Music | No Comments

This is the 3rd single from Taio Cruz feat. Ke$ha off of his album “Rokstarr”. I think this single is okay… not as good as “Break Your Heart”, but it’s pretty cool. I guess you can’t go wrong by throwing Ke$ha on your record. Apparently before Taio Cruz became a solo artist, he wrote and produced several songs for Britney Spears, Justin Timberlake, and the Pussycat Dolls.
