I’m going to need a late pass on this one because I’ve never heard of Christian Rich before… and this video was released a year ago. Anyways, I’m digging this record! This is a VERY dope record off of Bruno Mars’ upcoming EP called It’s Better If You Don’t Understand dropping on May 11th. I think this record will do very well on radio. If you didn’t know, Bruno Mars was the singer on B.O.B.’s smash single “Nothing On You.” I think Bruno Mars is generally an R&B artist, but I’m going to classify this song under Alternative. Check his other song “Our First Time” (more of an R&B style) below as well… The synth in this track reminds me of something the Neptunes would’ve produced.

Jeff (via jeffwongdesign), my best friend and business partner in Kameleons Music Group, made an interesting comparison yesterday… the new single from Lady Gaga called “Alejandro” sounds a lot like the 90s sound of Ace of Base… weird that she is bringing this sound back. Hmm..
New record from Cash Money artist Jay Sean featuring Lil Jon. This song was produced by David Guetta. I think it’s officially time to say that David Guetta is the “go-to” club producer of the year.

New single from Canada’s new Pop group “Girlicious” – perhaps the “lock me up” chorus alludes to the fact that one of the group’s members was arrested on cocaine charges back in March this year… Anyways, this is not a bad effort from them. Typical electro-pop, but better than some of the other songs in this genre.
