So… I’m out in LA this week, and I’m hanging out with DJ Eric V (of the Baka Boyz) and DJ Homicide. They just introduced me to Skrillex. He is an electro/house/breakbeat/dubstep producer from LA. Check out his remix to Casxio’s “Seventeen” – he’s like Deadmau5 on steroids. In fact, Deadmau5 signed him to his imprint. Sick! Check it out here.

Of course this is in an old song… but not old enough to be a throwback. I just realized I never posted this! Check out James Pants’ song “Thin Moon” (off the album Seven Seals) as well as Mayer Hawthorne’s cover of it. I actually heard the Mayer Hawthorne cover first… both are great.
