VA Beach seems like a breeding ground for dope hip hop/pop producers. Of course you’ve heard of Teddy Riley, The Neptunes, Timbaland, and Danjahandz… I’m from Virginia and I spent a good deal of time working at Teddy Riley’s Future Recording Studios. Nottz has always been pretty active in the music world… He’s produced records for Drake, Busta Rhymes, Skillz, Snoop Dogg, 50 Cent, The Game, Asher Roth, etc. This is a viral video he made for his upcoming solo album.

According to AintItCoolNews, Archie Comics is announcing its first openly gay character, Kevin. Wasn’t the Archie comic book series supposed to end? Wasn’t there a series where Archie was supposed to marry either Betty or Veronica? Haha. Interestingly enough, the Archie comic book series is one of the most popular comic book publications in India. I wonder how they’ll react to this. See the press release below:
Man, I wish I could live here… The Maldives. Unfortunately, it is not a real loft, however, it is normally a 12-seat restaurant at the Hilton Maldives Resort and Spa, located 5 meters under water… It was temporarily converted into a suite to celebrate its 12th year anniversary. Apparently guests now have the chance to sleep under the sea (for a limited time). Pretty crazy. via Luxist.

I like M.I.A., but I might need some time for this to grow on me. UPDATE: Also, according to Billboard, it was apparently banned from YouTube for graphic violence…
