For the record, the Call of Duty franchise never seems to disappoint me. Here’s the full uncut trailer for Call of Duty: Black Ops which is being produced by Treyarch and will be released November 9th. via jeffwongdesign.

I’ve been watching a lot of time lapse video lately… very cool. BTW, I have no idea how to pronounce the name of the mountain. It’s spelled “Eyjafjallajokull”… that looks like something I’d accidentally type if I slammed my hands on the keyboard. via forgetfoo and jeffwongdesign.
Odd News: Chikan Subway Gropers Beware!
Posted by vinnykumar | Only In Japan, Random, WTF?! | No CommentsSo, Japan (a 143,619 sq mile island) has a huge population of over 125+ million citizens and therefore the country is extremely overcrowded. This overcrowding, apparently, is also ideal for perverts who want to grope women. In Japan, a man who commits such an act is called a chikan, and they tend to perform such acts on the subway trains. I’ve been to Japan twice, and I’ve never noticed anything like it. Apparently, there are message boards where these chikans decide on a time and a place to “mass grope” women. At any rate, Japan Railways has tried to circumvent this problem by making “female only” cars and installing video cameras. Also, Japan is actually considered one of the safest countries. Is this “groping” not a safety concern? WTF!?
Video: Wale feat. Gucci Mane – "Pretty Girls"
Posted by vinnykumar | Hip Hop, Music, Music Videos | No CommentsI just met Wale last night in ATL, so I figured I’d post his most recent single “Pretty Girls” featuring Gucci Mane and Weensey off of his debut album Attention: Deficit. I definitely like this song! Shout out to Wale and his manager Wes.
YahZarah feat. Foreign Exchange – "Why Don’t You Call Me No More"
Posted by vinnykumar | Music, R&B, UGHH | No CommentsGotta show some home town love since I grew up in Richmond, VA. YahZarah is an R&B artist from the Virginia/D.C. area who is signed to underground hip hop group Foreign Exchange (Phonte of Little Brother + Nicolay). She started out as a back up singer for Erykah Badu and is currently touring with Foreign Exchange. Nicolay, Phonte, and Jesse Boykins III all make cameo appearances in this video off of YahZarah’s album The Ballad of Purple St. James. I think the song is pretty cool, but I like some of her other records more. Uh… the beginning is an ode to the cartoon Jem if you’re wondering what that is. Shout out to my friend Hannah Wagner for sending this over.
Dallas Austin’s house was featured on an episode of MTV Cribs a while back – it won’t let me embed the video, so you can watch it on MTV’s website here. I went to Dallas Austin’s house a few years ago with my friends Eric and Nick Vidal (i.e. the Baka Boyz). Let me tell you, Dallas Austin’s house IS as crazy as it looks. The only thing I can remember that I didn’t see in the video is how all the rooms are equipped with XBOX 360s and flat panel screens so you can play multiplayer in any room. Oh, also the elevator is filled with funny mirrors that distort your image… Pretty crazy. This house really looks like a mini-Delano.
The F800 hybrid will appear sometime around 2012 and according to Gizmodo, “will combine a traditional gasoline engine using direct-injection technology with a hybrid module, which can be powered up by simply plugging into a charging station.” More photos after the break.
Another song from The Kickdrums called “Impatient” off of their debut album Just A Game. The group consists of producer/singer/songwriter Alex Fitts and dj/producer Matt Penttilä who have produced for several artists including Slaughterhouse and 50 Cent. Also make sure to check out the video for “Just A Game” that I posted a while back. Shout out to Alex.
